February Function: Hosted by Steve Powers and Gary Hansen. It was the Daytona 500 and Poker day at the club house.

April Function:Ted McArthur & Brad Gill. Car show at the Colorado School of Mines. 7 cars 3 winners. Way to go fellas.

March Function:Jack Conway and Bill Hinshaw. Has been cancelled simply due to the departure from the club by Bill and Jack as retirements and the 100 plus years of friendship they share. They will be missed as they hit the road and travel. So now the Club is looking for some serious Ford guys to replace these two. Qualifications must include the following. Hardcore about Fords. Be able to take the abuse about Fords, a big must. And have fun.

May Function: Function: Jim Larson & Joe Lopez- Okay fellas, you're up! They will be hosting the Sonic Cruise. Club Members arrival time will be at 4:30 for set up. Don't forget the spouses and family.

January and Febuary: The ColoRODans unfortunately had 3 members leave the club for various reasons. Longtime member Bill Hinshaw sat down after the last meeting to chat with Webmaster Jim about his time in the club. Click here.

NSRA Rocky Mountain Nationals. June 27th, 28th, and 29th in Pueblo Colorado. www.nsra-usa.com, several members of the ColoRODans went down to Pueblo to participate and to host one of the games. The club did a killer scale quarter mile Hot Wheels track, built by Ted McArthur. A fun time was had by all. Check out the action.

June Function: Mike Wells and Harold Aldridge - It's a biggie. The Good-Guys Colorado Nationals at the Ranch, Larimer County Fairgrounds, in Loveland. Saturday May 31st (I know it's for the June Function, I held my January function in February) This should be fun. Club members will leave the clubhouse at 6:15 a.m. For those who wish to register or pickup their pre-registration packets, we will be going up on Friday afternoon, May 30th. Meet at the north Wal-Mart parking lot at 1:00 p.m. (This speeds up entering as a group on Saturday morning). This event does cover 3 days. For the hard core car show types, Sunday is everyone for himelf. Or, we can make arrangements on Saturday for a group event on Sunday June 1st.

On Sunday May 4th, several of the ColoRODans participated in the Great Machine Event hosted by The Rocky Mountain Nova Club. There were several winners in various classes, webmaster Jim wasn't so lucky (rant deleted). It was fun and a nice day for the event. Thanks to the Nova Club for a really good time. Lotsa pics of cool cars, even more will be posted when I get them.

Upcoming Events: May 17th. The ColoRODans, SONIC Cruise Night at the SONIC Drive In at the Longmont Sonic! Bring your car, bring your gal, bring your guy, bring the kids, and have Chili Cheese Coney Dog!

Election Results, and other goings on at the December 18th meeting. Joe Lopez Retains Presidency. Ted McArthur Get's Another Round of Being Secretary. Harold Aldridge Becomes 2008's Vice President. Steve VanSkiver Is The New Treasurer.

Need your help! Stolen Street Rod at 9:15pm 4-27-08.

Terry Salinas went out at 9:15 tonight because his dogs were barking. He went to let them out and saw his 33 Coupe going north on Sheridan from his home, just north of Hampden a few blocks.

It's a Red 33 Ford Coupe with yellow flames on the front, (Photo Attached) and a tunnel ram sticking through the hood. Please keep your eyes out for his car....what a shame for such a nice guy, and for Pam. Police have the info, so call them
if you spot it IMMEDIATELY.
