Webmaster Jim sat down with Bill after his last meeting to chat with him about his time with the ColoRODans. Bill was a member since joining in 1999. He was with the club until February 2008 when he decided that with his wife's retiring, this was going to allow them more time for traveling. Touring Colorado was on his agenda along with going to Barret Jackson and wherever the road would take them.

One of his fondest memories of the club was a car event, Bobby Shorts at Elk Mountain on the Foothills Highway. He, along with several other ColoRODans, got caught in a huge rainstorm that sent water flooding over Bill's boots. The wind blew over the tents and made for a rather soggy day. In spite of the weather he had a lot of fun. I'm guessing they all just made the best out of a situation.

I asked Bill if he was going to be at the Rod Festival, according to him, maybe. If he's in town he'll come stop by and take a look with out having to opperate it.
