On July 22 and 23, the ColoRODans celebrated with its 36th annual Rod Festival, bringing the usual supply of cool cars and fun events to the Boulder County Fairgrounds. This year's festivities did not disappoint, as more than 250 classic cars were in attendance.

The weekend began with a rodder's breakfast, which preceded the ColoRODans entry in the Boulder County Fair Parade. The ColoRODans won first place in the parade, and the stage was set for the festival to begin.
One of the unique aspects of this year's Rod Festival was the welcome party for rodders in attendance on Saturday night at Scooter Hinge Nostalgia Hall. The party featured a pig roast and dance.

When the Show 'n Shine finally came on Sunday morning, the ColoRODans eagerly anticipated another strong turnout from the public. This year's festival featured several food vendors, T-shirt and photo shops and pinstripping lessons by Mark Ford. Broncos cheerleaders were also in attendance, and gave out autographs to the public.

The show ended with an awards program and door prize giveaways. The club would like to extend a thank you to the public, as well as to local businesses, for their considerable support and part in making the Rod Fest one of Colorado's highest regarded classic car shows.
