Growing up on a farm I always had a place to work on my cars. It seems like all of my cars have been old, so they were always in need of work!
I have a bachelor's degree in Auronautics, and have obtained my air frame and power plant licenses as well as a commercial pilot's license. I flew in the Grand Canyon for a couple of years and then went to work as a mechanic with Northwest Airlines. In 1990 I had a career change after being hit in the head with an airplane propeller. I am now a bronze sculptor and help my dad on the farm.
One of my cars is a 1965 K Code Mustang which I went through entirely a few years ago. I am currently in the process of finishing a 1973 Chevrolet pickup. My next project will be a 1976 Ford Supercab that I am going to cut to a short box. It will be left as a 3/4 ton and will have a 1971 460 which I have built for it.
I am married and have two kids. My wife is a realtor, and my kids are in the process of completing their degress -- all from CU!
